News from 3rd Class (Ms Moran)

 Third class have been working hard learning all about 3D shapes. They have learned all the properties of shapes and played shape hunts, guess the shape game and we created charts noting properties.

Third class have also been examining the effect of magnets, how they work and items that attract and retract the magnets. We looked at how magnets attract due to the North and South Poles. We had fun testing materials and testing magnets.

We also enjoyed some lovely fruit platters for Brat Bia in school. We discussed which fruit and vegetables we like and dislike in Irish and played bingo!
